Subsetting removes glyphs you do not use, which can dramatically shrink a font. If your site only shows English text, you rarely need thousands of glyphs. Enter the characters (or paste your text) and get a slimmed-down WOFF2. Basic Latin letters, numbers and punctuation are always kept.
